Claremont Little Athletics Centre was founded in 1986 with a simple belief — every child deserves the chance to run, jump, and throw. What started as a small community club at Abbotsfield Park has grown into one of Tasmania's most respected little athletics centres.

For nearly four decades we have welcomed children from across the Claremont region, nurturing talent at every level. From first-timers finding their feet to state-level competitors chasing records, our club has always been a place where effort is celebrated and every finish line matters.

We compete as part of Little Athletics Tasmania and the Southern Athletics League, giving our athletes the opportunity to represent their club at regional and state level throughout the season.
